Q: How many years has your company been in business?

A: We started our formal facility in 1993 and we are growing strong. We started  originally in 1989. We are fully sanctioned by both the local and International African Holistic Society. We were an outgrowth of the Sankofa Project.


Q: How Many hours is your Healthy Hair Care & Holistic Living workshop?

A: 16 hours- 2-days. 


Q: How long does the workshop take?

A: With just a 2-day workshop you will obtain valuable information that will enhance your career.

Q: Will I be able to open my own Natural Hair Care facility?

A: No, you must obtain Licensing from the Cosmetic Art Board as a Natural Hair Care Specialist.

Q: Do the students have a ceremony?

A: Yes, as in the African Tradition dating back thousands of years, there is a coming out or Graduation Ceremony that all participate in, including the guests. We all have a fantastic and memorable time. This is subject to enrollment.


Q: What if all I want to do is know how to loc or do natural hair?

A: Our teachings include Holistic Living as well. You would be cheating yourself and your clientele. There is a lot more than just ''doing hair'' involved. Our system is a thorough introduction to Holistic Living. Hair is just part of the process. You must understand the ancient science of dealing with Healing the Whole Human Being. Most of your clients will need much much more than just getting their natural hair &  locs styled. There is a whole system of neuro-science related to trichology. It must be integrated with the concept of Wellness. Any of our graduates will tell you; It is not what they thought it was going to be like...but a whole new way of seeing the world and enhancing your life awaits you.

Q: Will I be able to use the education I get from the other workshops such as Reiki or Reflexology as part of my career.

A: By all means; these Holistic Healing Modalities should be used in conjunction with not aside from Healthy Hair Care. Students are  able to create their own Holistic Healing facilities or work with chiropractors, hospitals, Dr.offices or other facilities that offer Holistic Healing services. Holistic Healing is the wave of the future. There are many opportunities for growth and careers. It depends on you and what your focus is. Anything studied pertaining to Holistic Living is truly about helping people find a natural alternative to caring for themselves, thier love ones and others. This is a very meaningful career and those in it take it very seriously. You  should never stop learning.
